10 Writing Prompts: Part One
In past posts, I have talked about how to use writing prompts, what they are for, and even created one or two. Now, I want to dedicate an entire post to writing prompts to help get the creativity flowing! Feel free to use any of these, I hope they bring you some inspiration! Without further ado, here are my 10 writing prompts for you!

Prompts
- Somewhere along the way, she had lost it.
- The birds stopped singing, and the leaves no longer rustled.
- “Put a smile on,” they said, but it didn’t feel right.
- The blood had stained the carpets and the wood floors.
- He stepped up to the throne and held his head high.
- There was an undeniable urge to keep moving through the pitch-black space.
- “Hasn’t anyone told you? The world has descended into chaos…there’s no going home.”
- The dog jumped from his bed and barked at the air; there was nothing there.
- It seemed to be a perfect night, but he knew that something would ruin it.
- “Didn’t I tell you not to kill anyone?”
These 10 writing prompts are just the beginning! I will periodically post new writing prompts, because we all could use some help every once in a while! Let me know if you end up using any of these, I would love to read what you write!
